淮北盐河考

A Historical Research of Huaibei Salt River

北魏郦道元《水经注》说游水是淮水的一条支流,沭水、游水、涟水,一脉相承,异名同体,是其不同河段在不同时期的名称。新漕渠、通涟河、支家河以及下中河、张河,均在不同历史时期与盐河有密切关系。淮北盐河河口与闸坝的变迁,一是受制于地理环境的变化,二是受到批验盐引所设立位置的限制。

Li Daoyuan of Northern Wei says in his Shui Jing Zhu（ Notes on Book of Waters） that the Youshui River is a tributary of the Huaishui River,and that Shushui,Youshui and Lianshui,flowing from the same source,are but different names used in different periods for different parts of the same river. Xincaoqu（ the New Transport Canal）,the Tonglianhe River,the Zhijiahe River,the Xiazhonghe River and the Zhanghe River all have close links with the Salt River in different historical periods. The changes the river mouth,the floodgates and the dams of Huaibei Salt River have undergone are subject on the one hand to those of the geographical environment,and to the various sitings of the salt inspection office on the other.
