Preparation and properties of Nd_2O_3/ABS composites

摘要 制备了Nd_2O_3/ABS复合材料,考察了引发剂用量,反应时间对ABS树脂转化率的影响。通过力学性能、硬度、吸湿率及耐腐蚀性测试研究了Nd_2O_3含量对浇注体复合材料板材的性能影响。结果表明,ABS树脂适宜的聚合条件为:反应温度85℃,引发剂用量为单体质量的0.5%,预聚合反应时间为150 min。当纳米Nd_2O_3的质量分数为0.3%时,复合体系的冲击性能达到最佳,比ABS板材提高了142.86%。当纳米Nd_2O_3的质量分数为0.2%时,弯曲强度达到最大,比ABS材料提高了48.84%。而吸湿率和耐碱腐蚀率在纳米Nd_2O_3的质量分数为0.5%时最小。邵氏硬度随着Nd_2O_3含量的增加而线性上升。 The Nd_2O_3/ ABS composites were prepared. The effects of initiator dosage and reaction time on the conversion rate of ABS resin were studied. By mechanical propery,hardness,corrosion resistance and moisture absorption rate testings,the effects of Nd_2O_3 content on the performance of casting composite sheet were investigated. The results showed that the suitable polymerization conditions of ABS resin were as followed: reaction temperature 85 ℃,initiator dosage(based on the monomer mass) 0.5% and prepolymerization reaction time 150 min. The impact performance of composite system with 0.3% nano Nd_2O_3 was the best and was increased by 142.86% compared with that of ABS sheet. The flexural strength reached the maximum when nano Nd_2O_3 mass fraction was 0.2% and was increased by 48.84% compared with that of ABS material. The moisture absorption rate and alkali corrosion rate were the minimum when nano Nd_2O_3 mass fraction was 0.5%. The Shore hardness was linearly increased with the increasing of Nd_2O_3 content.
