A Review of the Research on Wu Xiaodong's Mythology

吴晓东从事神话学研究二十多年,纵观其整个研究历程,其研究对象不断扩展,对蚩尤神话的研究层层深入,对盘瓠神话研究革故鼎新,同时以考据为主的研究特点贯穿始终。他坚持用语言学的理论方法进行研究,同时不排斥用其他方法进行补充研究。其不拘定论、大胆质疑、推陈出新、多有创获,一直在学术研究中苦心孤诣,其研究成果引起学界关注。

Wu Xiaodong engaged in the study of mythology for more than twenty years,throughout the entire course of study,the research object continues to expand,the research on the myth of Chi You is gradually deepening,the research on the myth of Panhu mythology is innovation,at the same study on the characteristics of textual research mainly throughout.He insisted on the theory of linguistics,and does not exclude the other methods to supplement research.His not conclusive,bold questioning,innovation,many achievements have been attained in academic research,which has attracted the attention of the academic circles.
