This paper briefly introduced the importance of the thickness of reinforced protective layer and its design value,the quality problems caused by the thickness of the reinforced protective layer are briefly summarized,the detection method of the thickness of reinforced protective layer and the relevant acceptance rules were introduced. In combination with the existing code for design and acceptance of concrete structure,several problems in the thickness measurement of steel bar protective layer were analyzed and discussed.
