The application of low-cost carbon fiber composites in passenger vehicle

摘要 碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)可以减轻乘用车体质量,改善燃油效率,减少CO2的排放,但碳纤维高昂的成本制约了它的广泛应用。简介了低成本碳纤维(LCCF)的研究与开发动向以及木质素基和聚烯烃基碳纤维技术快速进入商业化的的态势。 Carbon fiber composites can reduce the weight of passenger vehicle, increase vehicle fuel economy and reduce the carbon dioxide emissions. However, high cost of carbon fiber hinders the extensive application of the carbon fiber composites. This article briefly introduces the RD trend of low-cost carbon fiber and status in rapid commercialization of lignin-based and polyolefin-based carbon fiber.
