摘要
多年来,各国学者用激光辐照牙齿,观察牙釉表面结构变化。曾使用固体激光器(红宝石、掺钕钇铝石榴石、钕玻璃等)及气体激光器(CO2及氩离子激光器等)。虽辐照能量不同,但均想使牙齿产生物理化学变化,使牙釉质表面熔融,封闭有机孔道,使釉质非晶体化。釉质结构在宏观上不显著,而可见到明显的微观改变,同时对牙髓组织无害,企图通过这一变化达到予防龋齿的目的。
The aim of the study was to observe laser effects on dental enamel. Single-pulsed Nd-YAG and CO_2 laser beams had been applied to enamel surfaces of extracted human teeth with low and high energy densities respectively. Structural changes of enamel surface were compared by scanning electrone microscopy prior to and after laser application. Melting and evaporating effects were observed and they were more distinct with higher energy densities. By using Nd-YAG laser minute pores and cracks were produced, but they were not found when CO_2 laser was used.
