以创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享5大理念引领高等教育现代化,既是我国经济社会发展的外在要求,也是高等教育发展的内在逻辑。以创新推动高等教育现代化,要释放内生育人功能,发挥好文化发展、社会服务等外衍功能;以协调推进高等教育现代化,要协调好区域高等教育、高等教育内外关系以及培养和谐发展的人;以绿色促进高等教育现代化,要以人的发展为核心,营造文明生态环境,创新体制机制;以开放提升高等教育现代化,要重点推动高等教育国际化战略;以共享助推高等教育现代化,要实现资源的共享和配置优化、创建学术共同体、追求"个性化"的教育、完善评价机制等。

With innovation to promote higher education modernization it is necessary to release endogenous education function,and to play a good external function on the cultural development and social service. With coordination to promote the modernization of higher education it is necessary to coordinate the relationship between regional higher education inside and outside,higher education and cultivating people in the harmonious development. With green concept to promote the modernization of higher education,it is necessary to take the development of people as the core,and to build civilized ecological environment and innovate system and mechanism. With opening to promote higher education modernization,it is necessary to focus on the promoting the internationalization strategy of higher education. With sharing concept to promote higher education modernization,it is necessary to achieve resource sharing and configuration optimization,to create the academic community,and to pursue 'personalized'education and to perfect the assessment mechanism.
