Analysis the Effect of Hospital Evaluation on Average Length of Stay

目的:研究医院评审工作对医院平均住院日的影响,探索缩短平均住院日的有效方法。方法:收集医院2011-2014年医院评审前后医疗数据,运用统计学方法,对平均住院日与诊疗质量等指标进行相关性和线性回归分析。结果:开展医院评审工作后,平均住院日明显缩短,当日出院患者比例、临床与病理诊断符合率、术前与术后诊断符合率等评价指标得到提高(P<0.05),相关与线性回归结果显示,术前与术后诊断符合率对平均住院日有负相关作用。结论:医院评审工作的开展对平均住院日有显著影响,对提升医疗质量起关键性作用。

Objective: To study the effect of hospital evaluation on average length of stay, and explore the effective method to shorten it. Method: Relative data of the hospital from 2011 to 2014 when before and after hospital evaluation were collected, the statistic methodology and linear regression analysis were employed to explore the average length of stay and diagnose and treatment quality indicator. Result: After the hospital evaluation, the average length of stay was shortened obviously, rate of day discharge, coincidence rate of clinical diagnosis and pathological diagnosis, coincidence rate of preoperative and postoperative diagnosis were significantly improved(p<0.05). Linear regression analysis results showed, coincidence rate of preoperative and postoperative diagnosis was negatively correlated with the average length of stay. Conclusion: Hospital evaluation has significant impact on average length of stay, and plays the key function on hospital medical quality construction.
