This papper gives a definition of ar?chives information ecological chain and explains its connotation. It argues that the archives information ecological chain has two kinds of structure form which called multi-chain star and multi-chain net?work,and it consists of information people,informa?tion and interlinkage. According to different classifi?cation criteria,the archives information ecological chain can be divided in various types.
