Choice selection of Zheng Rongda years of writing important musicological papers is compiled into a book, titled as Sheng Lv Yue Diao Bielun, will be published by Shanghai Conservatory of Music Press nearly. This is not only a concentrated display of Zheng's a number of important achievements in researching on Chinese traditional music in many years, but also a life review and summarize the experiences of Zheng as he live to the advanced age, and also a happy event to help the academic circles of musicology(especially the majority of young people) more easily learn and inheritance senior scholars method results and thinking spirits. The comments of this paper only touched upon the essentials of this book and commentary focused on the vital outline.
