Fromthe connotation and characteristics of patent system and technology innovation, this paper expounds the functional mechanisms of patent system in enterprise technology innovation, including patent infor?mation assurance, patent intelligence orientation,intellectual property protection,and innovation encouragement and so on.Then the article points out the shortcomings of patent system roles in the technology innovation of en?terprises in our country, and puts forward the corresponding solutions.
