Historical Event and Culture: The Rethinking of Research of Intellectual History of CPC

中共精神史研究是中共党史研究领域的一个重要组成部分,但有关这项研究的理论与方法尚处于探索阶段。中共精神史首先是一种历史形式,它由历史的史事叙事来体现,但作为一种精神存在,中共精神史又必须要由各种文化载体来表征它的历史存在,史事与文化共同构成中共精神史的存在方式。中共精神史的研究不同于中共精神现象的研究,在理论和方法上,它应当纳入历史研究的范畴。中共精神史研究要获得学术进步,就必须解决不得不面对的各种学理难题。

The research of intellectual history is one of the important part in the field of history of CPC. However, the theory and method of the research of intellectual history of CPC is still in exploratory stage. Intellectual history of CPC is one of the history form at first, which is reflected by historical event and narration ; but as a kind of spir- itual survival, intellectual history of CPC has to show its historical existence through all kinds of carriers of cul- ture. Historical event and culture jointly constitute the way of existence of intellectual history of CPC. The study of intellectual history differs from study of spiritual phenomenon of t CPC; theoretically and methodologically, it should be brought into the category of history study. If we want to make progress in the research of intellectual his- tory of CPC, we must sovle the theoretical problems that we would face.
