1941年12月太平洋战争爆发后,在多种因素的综合作用下,上海进入了一个与此前很不一样的阶段,突出的特点之一就是华商企业有了明显的发展,而这种发展在很大程度上与证券市场的中介、流通和集聚等作用分不开,是近代中国比较有特色的一段时期。尽管这段时期由许多特殊因素集聚形成,但其带来和反映出来的特色以及中国特殊的国情,仍然值得我们重视和深入研究。

After the outbreak of the Pacific War December 1941, Shanghai entered a quite different stage with before because of the comprehensive function of multiple factors. One of the outstanding characteristics was that the Chinese enterprises had a significant development, and this development couldn＇t be separated from the effect of the intermediary, circulation and agglomeration of the stock market. It was a relatively distinctive period in the modem China. Although this period was formed by the gathering effect of many special factors, the characteristics and the special national conditions of China that it reflected still deserves our attention and in-depth researches.
