摘要
为了提高人才培养质量,苏州大学面向新生推出"新生研讨课"建设体系。新生研讨课《核与辐射安全漫谈》在教学过程中,采用多种教学方式,围绕问题展开课堂内容,转变学生思考方式,提高了学习积极性,提升了团队协作能力,激发了学术研究的兴趣。经过两年的实践,该课程深受学生欢迎,取得了较好的教学效果。
We developed a novel instructional system Freshmen Seminar at Soochow University.This system was developed with improving the quality of education in mind,especially for freshmen.We showed here one example applying the system in the instruction of Nuclear and Radiation Safety.By using a variety of instructional techniques,we encouraged classroom discussion on the topics,transformed how students solving problems,motivated students,improved teamwork,and stimulated academic interests among students.The course gained popularity among freshmen and proven to be an effective teaching technique in the two-year period of implementation.
