New Spirit of Confucian Businessmen Called by Contemporary Socialist Market Economy

当代社会主义市场经济的迅猛发展使人民生活水平日益提高的同时,也带来了一系列负面效应:诚信缺失、唯利是图、见利忘义等屡见不鲜。如何有效地防控这些负面效应,西方经济学单纯强调工具理性的做法证明在中国是行不通的,今天又重新看到了儒商精神的时代价值,儒商文化主要从道德方面即价值理性方面对市场行为进行调整,努力实现义与利的均衡。在当代市场经济中弘扬新儒商精神要做到:重新认识儒商精神的时代价值,弘扬儒商精神;用儒商精神重构新型商业伦理,最终达到义与利的统一。

The rapid development of the contemporary socialist market economy has increasingly improved people＇s living standards,and with it came a series of such negative effects as dishonesty,gainfulness and unscrupulousness. As to the ways of effectively preventing and controlling these negative effects,the practice of western economics which simply focuses on the instrumental rationality does not work in China. Today the spirit of Confucian businessmen is revalued and the market behaviors are adjusted by the scholar businessmen culture in terms of moral ethics to achieve the balance of loyalty and benefit. In order to promote the new spirit of Confucian businessmen in the contemporary market economy,the contemporary value of the spirit of Confucian businessmen should be re-understood and the new business ethics reconstructed by the spirit of Confucian businessmen with a view to ultimately achieving the unity of loyalty and benefit.
