Research on Safe Travelling Speed of Expressway under Severe Weather Conditions

恶劣天气条件对高速公路行车安全产生严重影响,首先分析雨、雪、雾等不良天气条件对高速公路行车安全的影响,利用反应时间及制动印迹长度推导出基于安全距离的车速限制计算公式,结合相关研究成果给出各关键参数的合理取值,计算出恶劣天气条件下高速公路的合理限速值。

Severe weather conditions will exert serious influences on the travelling safety of expressway. First,the influence of severe weather conditions like rain,snow,fog and etc. on the travelling safety of expressway is analyzed,and the calculation formula of speed limit based on safe distance is derived by utilizing reaction time and braking print length. In combination with relevant research result,reasonable value of each important parameter is given,and reasonable speed limit value of expressway under severe weather conditions is calculated.
