潘岳《西征赋》征引典故200多例,赋中所用史部典故尤具特色:史部典故数量与经部典故基本持平;史部事典中套用经部语典;用正史语典以评价人物等。这些特征与魏晋时期史学开始脱离经学,但仍深受其影响,正史确立其地位,以及人物传记的兴盛等史学发展的新特点息息相关。

Over two hundred allusions are quoted in Xi Zheng Fu which is written by Pan Yue,the allusions cited from history books have particular characteristics.The quantity of allusions quoted from history books and sacred books are almost equal.Allusions cited from sacred books are applied inside historical allusions.The text evaluate historical figure by language allusion quoted from official history.These features Have close relations with the new traits of historiography of Wei and Jin Dynasty.Historiography began to detach from scripture,although still deeply affected by it,official history established its status,biographies were prosperous.
