汉语“X向左,Y向右”构式的语义认知研究

Researches on Semantic Cognition of Chinese New Construction“X xiàng zuǒ(向左),Y xiàng yòu(向右)”

基于构式语法理论和概念整合理论,从认知的角度对汉语"X向左,Y向右"结构进行分析。研究认为汉语"X向左,Y向右"结构是由两个并列分句整合而成的一种新兴的修辞构式,其构式义为:在原点上强制性地将相关的两种现象放在相互对立的态势中观察它们各自的走向,以便获得它们作为一个整体的认知。其语义的认知基础是"左、右"在构式中的语法化和空间隐喻作用,其语义结构的形成机制是在特定的语境中修辞动因与语法结构的完美整合。

This paper argues that the Chinese structure ＂X xiang zuo（向左）, Y xiang you （向右）＂ is a new rhetoric construction which is composed by the integration of the two coordinate clauses. The semantics of the construction can be summarized as follows： At the origin to mandatorily put the related two phenomena in the contradictory situation to observe their respective orientation, thus to cognize them as a whole. Its semantic cognitive basis is the grammaticalization and spatial metaphor of＂left＂ and ＂right＂in the construction.
