摘要
作为太谷学派弟子,《老残游记》作者刘鹗通过老残这一带有自况意味的人物形象,寄托了太谷学派"以养天下为己任"的理想抱负,并将自己的学术经历及太谷学派的一些重要人物写进小说。刘鹗还通过具体故事情节对"和而不同"与"执其两端"这两个儒学范畴作了形象演绎,借此回应了太谷学派弟子对自己的非难。刘鹗又以特定情节与人物形象对太谷学派思想体系的复杂性做了如实反映。
As a disciple of Taigu school,Liu-E through the characters of Lao-Can expressed the ambition of the Taigu school to save the world.In the novel,he described his Taigu school academic activities,and described the important members of the Taigu school.The members of Taigu school thought that the development of Neo-Confucianism deviated from the original Confucius meaning.Therefore,Liu-E through the story explained Confucianism ideas,and responded to the criticism from members of the Taigu school.Liu-E also showed the complexity of Taigu school thought system.
