The military culture has always played a key role in a nation＇s cultural construction since the ancient times.On the one hand,it is a sub-culture of the masses＇ culture,which is featured as a perceptual form the masses love to see and hear.On the other hand,it is an excellent carrier of a nation＇s mainstream culture,which is responsible for the heritage and transmission of the main-stream ideology.This essay accurately defines the nature of the military culture,sorts out the historical contributions of the military culture,and explores the modern values of the military culture.The aim is to illustrate the following points.From the perspective of serving the officers and soldiers,the military culture will help to improve the soft power of the military combat effectiveness.From the perspective of serving the masses,the military culture will help to improve the soft power of the nation＇s culture and accelerate the realization of the China Dream—the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
