The technical parameters of the existing car dumper foundation ditch and the bottom-opened hopper car are analyzed. The unloading process, the unloading capacity and feeder capacity of the special bottom-opened hopper car are determined.The modification plan of the main structure, hopper system and de-dust system of the special bottom-opened unloading system are introduced in detail. More advantages of the special bottom-opened unloading system are shown such as simplified process,lower cost, safer operation and lower energy consumption.
