Based on traditional Chinese medical theory and clinical experience,Professor Wang Lingtai thinks that the main pathogenesis of primary biliary cholangitis（ PBC） is＂imbalance of yin and yang＂and＂regulating yin and yang＂is the principle in the treatment of PBC. He emphasizes the idea of＂expelling pathogenic factors without healthy qi injury＂and the regulation on the immune function of patients with PBC.
