A Preliminary Study of The Palace Museum Collected Oracle Bone Inscriptions on Hunting

自"故宫博物院藏殷墟甲骨文整理与研究"正式立项以来,学界就对故宫所藏甲骨给予了极大的关注。本文从已整理出的135版田猎刻辞中选取以往甲骨著录书曾经著录的部分,从田猎动物和田猎地理两方面进行了对比研究,作者认为,新整理的这些田猎刻辞,不仅可以纠正以往甲骨著录书著录的失误,其所见动物名和地理名对于以往殷商田猎研究也有较大补正。

The research project into the inscribed oracle bones from Yin Ruins which are collected in The Palace Museum has drawn wide attention from academia ever since it has been officially approved. In the thesis is introduced the comparative analysis of the selected oracle bone inscriptions that have been put into modern Chinese characters in the publications out of the 135 pieces bearing the theme on hunting from two aspects—— animals and geography. It is of significance that some errors of the previous translation of the oracle bone scripts have got corrected as the result of being re-catalogued now, which, meanwhile, supplements the study on hunting issues in the Shang dynasty with the identification of the names of animals and geography.
