摘要
《边城》是沈从文牧歌式小说的代表,自1934年出版以来,先后被译为多种语言,迄今已有四个英译本。国内外学者对《边城》的研究已取得了一定成果,但对其译本的系统研究并不多,而从中国翻译理论的角度进行的研究则更少。文章从钱钟书先生的"化境"论视角入手,对照原作,对比分析了《边城》的金隄译本、戴乃迭译本以及金介甫译本在语言、文学、文化等方面的不同处理。研究结果表明:戴乃迭译本保持原作的精神姿致,入于"化"之境界。
" Biancheng" is the representative of Shen Congwen's pastoral novels. Since its publication in 1934, " Biancheng" has been translated into many different foreign languages,including four English versions. Though the scholars at home and abroad have done some research on " Biangcheng". There are few systematic studies on its translation,less from the angle of Chinese translation theories. Based on three English versions of " Biancheng". The paper sets out to examine their handling of language,literature and culture in the perspective of Huajing. The paper explores how Gladys' version transmigrates the soul of the original and therefore reaches the acme of perfection.
