略谈评话小说《皮五辣子》故事在美国的传播与接受

明清时期的小说发展非常繁盛,形式内容多种多样,其中一部分聚焦于市民生活的作品被改编成其他相关的艺术形式继续流传。以清风闸——皮五辣子故事为例,该故事不但在清代以扬州评话的形式被人们所接受,流传至今,甚至在当今的美国也被相关学者所关注,并以美国评话的方式传播。本文从这一故事的内容演变、美国相似故事的比较分析、传播手段的对比研究,以及俗文学作品的内在特点诸多方面来分析该故事在美国的传播与接受,或许能够为我国古典小说的对外传播起到投石问路的作用。

Novels in Ming and Qing periods are prosperous and various in contents,part of which have been passed down by generations for focusing on the civil life by related artistic forms. Qingfeng Floodgate Piwu Lazi story not only accepted by the form of Yangzhou Pinghua,it is also noticed by American scholars,and it has been spread out by the form of a talk show.The thesis bases on the comparison between the story and similar ones in American literature,analyzes on its spreading characteristics in the America,which could be a clue or enlightenment of Chinese novel overseas popularity.
