Correlation Study on MBTI and Creativity Tendency of College Students

目的:探讨大学生MBTI人格类型与创造力倾向之间的相关关系。方法:采用MBTI人格问卷和威廉斯创造力倾向量表对350名大学生进行调查。结果:创造力总分与MBTI的内-外倾维度、感觉-直觉维度存在显著相关,外倾者比内倾者更具有创造力,直觉型比感觉型更具有创造力。结论:对大学生进行创造力培养应考虑其人格类型。

The paper tries to explore the relationship between MBTI and creativity. Methods： 350 university students were tested with Williams creation tendency scale and MBTI-M Scale. Results： Significant negative correlations existed between creativity and E-I dimension in MBTI, and extroverts were more creative than introverts. Significant positive correlations existed between creativity and S-N dimension, and type N was more creative than type S.Conclusion： On the cultivation of university students＇ creativity, their personality should be taken into consideration.
