The main feature of the criticizing speech act is to contain the speaker and the observer, where the speaker＇s speech is explained in terms of understanding the criticizing speech act by the observer. This paper analyzes the meta-language interpretation of the accusatory verbs, describes the features of the criticism speech act in narrative texts, and explains the methods to express critical meanings in such texts, thus revealing the role of observer as an interpreter in speech acts.
