It's recognized by the international academia that pre-primary educationcan help to increase children's future achievements. Using cross- national data from PI-SA2012,it's found that compared with middle-income and low-income countries, the pre-primary education participation rate, added value of mathematical literacy, and resilientrate are much higher in high- income countries;compared with other regions around theworld, countries in Western Europe,North America,Asian Pacific, tend to have higher pre-primary education participation rate, added value in mathematical literacy and resilientrate. By doing multivariate regression,it's found that 1% increase of pre-primary educationparticipation rate would bring 1.4% and 4% increases in added value of mathematical litera-cy and resilient ratio respectively. This reflects that pre-primary education would not onlyimprove students' academic achievements, but also enhance equality of education.
