Financial geography is an inter- discipline which is not down but rises up with the popularity of ICT and internet. The thesis introduces four aspects of internet finance, that is to say, retail banking services, distribution channel, institutional viewpoint and customer viewpoint,on the basis of which six issues of financial geography are explored from the perspective of internet finance. They are geography in internet era, internet and ICT's restructuring of financial space, new distribution channels of financial services, historical geography of finance, the intersection of virtual finance and real economy, and workplace geography which is supplementary to internet thinking. There are six aspects which is vital to our literature studies and routine practices. They are cultural financial geography, real estate financial geography, agricultural financial geography, insurance financial geography, geopolitical financial geography and healthy financial geography. The thesis also predicts future fields of this discipline in three aspects: Discipline coordinated development, the complexity of financial geographical space, and mutual promotion of "finance in narrow sense" with "finance in broad sense".
