Review of Study on Biographical Literature in the Qing Dynasty

清代是古代传记文学创作的兴盛时期,近年来,一些文学专史、研究专著以及一定数量的研究论文对清代传记文学展开了一定程度的探讨。但总体而言,此类研究并不透彻和深入,存在理论研究不足,个案研究为主、缺乏整体观照和研究视域受限、文体认识含糊等不足。

Qing Dynasty was the flourishing period for the creation of biographical literature. In recent years, some literature history, research monographs and a number of research papers have carried out a certain degree of discus- sions on the biographies in the Qing Dynasty. But generally speaking, such researches are not thorough and deep-go- ing, and there exist the shortcomings such as the scarcity of theoretical research, the lack of overall contemplation, the limited research horizon and vague stylistic awareness, etc.
