By interpreting the policies related to the development of sports in new countryside,this paper analyzes the connotation of new countryside in socialism country and explores the importance of developing rural sports in promoting the construction of new rural areas.Moreover,this paper considers that the better development of physical education in rural schools is an indispensable part of a well-off society,which has great significance in improving the rural population＇s physical quality and realizing the integration of urban and rural construction.Study shows what the construction of rural sports needs not only lies in changing the traditional concepts and awareness,but also being complemented by scientific research,government＇s attention and investment.
