摘要
隐喻是文学和语言学研究共同关注的话题。当代认知语言学建构了隐喻研究的认知路径,但是不够重视语境在隐喻使用中的作用,无法揭示隐喻完整的本相。佐尔坦·考维柯赛斯的隐喻研究新著《隐喻来自何处——重新思考隐喻中的语境》透过文学话语中的隐喻使用,彰显了语境的作用,为概念隐喻理论提供了重要的补充。
Metaphor is a common topic in linguistics and literary studies. Contemporary cognitive linguistics has proposed a cognitive approach to studying metaphor without attaching sufficient importance to the role of contexts in metaphorical usage. Therefore, it fails to reveal the complete mechanism of metaphors. In Where Metaphors Come From： Reconsidering Context in Metaphor, the latest book in metaphor studies, Zoltán K？vecses analyzes metaphorical usage in literary discourse to showcase the effect of contexts providing an important supplement to conceptual metaphor theory.
