咏史诗的英译批评——以《石头城》为例

Criticism On the Translation of the Historical Poems——Take The Town of Stone as an Emample

文章以唐代诗人刘禹锡名诗《石头城》为例,尝试运用美国著名语言学家乔姆斯基提出的原则—参数理论框架,将汪褣培教授典籍英译理论中"达意"、"传神"确立为翻译批评原则。作为文学体裁的译诗,除了"达意"之外,重在"传神",因此,本文将文体、节奏、用韵、诗情等设定为相关参数。通过对比许渊冲、孙大雨两家译诗,探索有效的译诗径路,为其理论研究与批评研究提供借鉴。

In the light of Chomsky＇s framework of Principles--parameter theory, this paper takes the English version of The Town of Stone by Liu Yuxi to explore the effective way of translating poems. Setting style, rhythm and rhymed meter as the basic parameters of the literary genre, the author makes an analysis of the Versions by Professor Xu Yuanchong and Sun Dayu under the guidance of Wang Rongpei＇ s expressiveness and Vividness aiming at providing reference for his translation theory and criticism.
