The role of expense control engineer in subcontract management, payment of construction progress, construction change, field certification, and final account for completed project were stressed on the basis of the author＇s working experience on expense control in general contract project of large float glass production line from the point of construction cost control. This article will provide a reference for expense control in future general contract project of float glass production line.
