To find the gap between Chinese men＇s basketball team and the world＇s top 8,the author analyses the offensive and defensive data about main players in the five location through the 30 th London Olympic Games,compared with the average data of score,active,passive,consciousness of the mean,respectively. Draw a conclusion that,only Yi in the position 5 who can compete with the world＇s top 8,and there is a vary widely between the other leading player in Chinese and the world＇s top 8both in offensive and defensive ability.
