Sticking to the Party spirit and its cultivation is the essence of Marxist political party. Party spirit of CPC is the unity of the nature of class and mass participation, which is reflected in loyalty to the Party and people, and established on the fact of Party's progressiveness and purity. The cultivation of Party spirit mainly follows three approaches, namely through improving one's moral accomplishment, through the combination of personal discipline and collective practice, and to reform the subjective world while reforming the objective world. It also follows four basic laws: the convergence of quantity and quality, the unity of opposites, the negation of negation, and the unity of individuality and commonness. Based on the features of contemporary Party spirit, the communists should strengthen their Party spirit from the following six aspects: first of all, improve theoretical training to adopt a firm and right ideal and conviction; secondly, enhance the awareness of Party sprit by studying the Constitution and regulations of the Party; thirdly, uphold democratic centralism and live serious political life; fourthly, establish firm views of the masses and insisted on the mass route all the time; fifthly, cultivate the Party spirit through developing and discarding the Chinese traditional official virtue; and sixthly, combine the ruling of Party in accordance to discipline with running the country in accordance with the law, to constantly improve the level of rule of law.
