信息检索课程服务学科建设的思考

信息检索课程面临发展窘境,存在诸多问题。需要对课程内容、设计进行改革,加强与院系合作力度,实行嵌入式教学,以课题为抓手,将学科特色融入信息检索课程教学中,发挥具有一定学科背景的学生的积极作用,整理好课题,形成学科专业数据库,为学科建设服务。

We are now faced with difficulties for the development of information retrieval course. There are many problems to be solved. Reforms on the course content and course design are required. Cooperation with departments and schools should be further enhanced and embedded teaching methods should be adopted. Subject characteristics ought to be considered and integrated into the teaching of information retrieval course. Students equipped with certain subject knowledge need to play a positive role in organizing subjects, building professional database for different subjects to service for subject construction.
