Development situation of plastics modification sector of China during the twelfth-five plan period, including output and status quo of some companies, was reviewed. Growing characteristics of the sector during the thirteenth-five plan period was innovatively driven. Companies in the sector will go forward based on good quality and high profit, leading to the promotion of technology of the whole sector. Some promising projects were listed.
