Polyfunctionality of Particle [k■^(33)] in the Biyo Dialect of Hani

碧约哈尼语助词k■^(33)不仅具有较高的使用频率,而且具有丰富的语法功能。它既可以作多种结构助词使用,又可以作句末语气词,还能充当引导从句的标记。本文通过对k■^(33)用法的共时描写与分析,证明其语法上的多功能性,并讨论了其产生的动因和语法功能演变的过程。

The particle [kw33] in the Biyo dialect of the Hani language not only has high frequency of use, but also has rich grammatical functions. It can be used as versatile structural particles, as sentence-final mood particles, and as complementizers of subordinate clauses. This paper presents the grammatical polyfunctionality of thi particle through a synchronic description and analysis of its usages, discusses the motivation of its polyfunctionality and proposes the evolution process of its various grammatical functions.
