家族二代认知差异与企业多元化战略调整——基于中国上市家族企业二代进入样本的实证研究 被引量:19

摘要 家族企业在传承期间的多元化战略调整是保持企业竞争优势和家族永续经营的关键因素。区别于家族一代元老的战略惯性,家族二代会基于自身价值观与认知能力来调整企业多元化战略,以快速应对外部环境的变化。从动态管理能力理论视角出发,结合制度理论和企业行为理论,并基于2004—2013年中国上市家族企业的传承样本,实证检验了家族二代认知能力与企业多元化战略调整之间的关系。结果显示:越具有MBA经历的家族二代,其企业多元化增长水平越低。而进一步的情境分析表明,当企业多元化水平落后于行业平均水平时,MBA经历有助于家族二代抵抗战略同形压力,避免被迫提高多元化水平,甚至可能进一步收缩业务多元化水平。而在企业绩效低于预期的情况下,具有MBA经历的家族二代会尝试风险更高的多元化扩张战略,以缓解企业经济效率较差的窘境。
