Investigation of the diagnosis and treatment in pattern of yin-fire

阴火证起源于《黄帝内经》,到李东垣才正式提出证名和较为详细的论述,但后世关于"阴火"的实质以及阴火证的诊疗方法仍存在争论,是中医理论和临床的难点之一。王彦晖教授从事中医临床30余年,对阴火证的治疗颇具心得,在前人基础上加上自己的经验,将阴火证分为气虚并心肝火旺、气虚并湿热两大证型,并提出了现代生活方式下阴火证的常见病因,重视舌脉在阴火证诊疗中的权重。文章还分享了一些用药经验。

Originated from The Inner Canon of Huangdi, the pattern of yin-fire was officially named and demonstrated in detail by LI Dong-yuan. However, there is still controversy on the nature of yin-fire and the treatment of it, and it is regarded as one of the difficulties in TCM theory and clinical practice. Having practiced TCM for more than 30 years, professor WANG Yan-hui has acquired a lot on the treatment of yin-fire. With the summary of former studies and his own experience, he classifies the pattern into two different types, namely qi deficiency with hyperactivity of heart fire and liver fire, and qi deficiency with damp-heat. Besides, he also identifies some common causes of yin-fire with the consideration of modern lifestyle, attaches great importance to tongue diagnosis and this paper shares some experience on administration.
