As two classic works rooted in the different cultural soil,Wuthering Heights and A Dream in Red Mansions has attracted the attention of critics home and abroad since their publication.Delivering completely different cultural connotations,the two evergreen classics are created in different times and counties.However,with an in-depth analysis,different colorful similarities have been revealed between Wuthering Heights and A Dream in Red Mansions,especially in the aspect of triangle love structure and the shaping of protagonists＇ characters.The paper tries to conduct a comparative study of the main characters in the two classical novels from a new prospective of＂androgyny＂and character analysis.
