摘要
伴随着对大国地位的追求,印度大力推动公共外交以塑造世界大国形象和让国际社会理解印度的对外政策。本文考察了印度可服务于公共外交的各种政治、文化和宗教等软权力资源,介绍了印度公共外交实践中采取的主要方式,探析了印度近年来的一些公共外交实践和效果。总结了印度公共外交中的一些特点,以及对中国公共外交的启示。
India is paying an increasing attention to public diplomacy in order to portray an image of world power to international community. This article examined the political, cultural and religious resources for the public diplomacy of India. India's practice on public diplomacy was discussed after an introduction of major tools and methods. The characters of Indian public diplomacy as well as its inspiration to China was summarized at the end.
