Cynanchum bungei is a famous traditional tonic in the oriental system of medicine as Cynanchum auriculatum Royle ex Wight roots. It have killing cancer cells,immunomodulatory,induction apoptosis of tumor cells and other activities. The active ingredient and immune activity of Cynanchum auriculatum Royle ex Wight was analyzed,research and development direction of Cynanchum auriculatum Royle ex Wight in the future were summarized.
