A Study of Natural Elements in Giono's Works from the Perspective of Space Theory

法国作家吉奥诺是扎根于普罗旺斯的生态作家,他以家乡的自然空间和个人的生活经历作为创作基础,将现实原型中土、气、水、火四大元素升华为文学意象,结合高山、河流、习风、阳光等具体指代的自然形象,形成主观与客观交织、物质与想象并存的诗意空间,元素的本原与生命的本真也在自然空间的内外呼应与相互交融中达成和谐与统一。

The French writer Jean Giono is an ecological writer in the Provence region of France. He uses the natural environment of Provence and his life experience as the basis of his work,linking the four basic natural elements—earth,water,fire and air—with specific natural images such as mountain,river,wind and sun,and constructing a poetic natural space where substance and imagination sit side by side. By combining subjectivity and objectivity in natural space,his work demontrates how natural elements and the essence of life help reveal each other and come to a harmonious unity.
