With a profound historical origin,Shaanxi traditional colored-lantern art is an important part of folk activities.Based on the current situation of Shaanxi traditional colored-lanterns,this paper focuses on the history,inheritance status,value and significance of Shaanxi traditional colored-lanterns,and proposes digitization protection measures for Shaanxi traditional colored-lanterns,hopefully to effectively inherit and protect the Shaanxi traditional colored-lantern culture.
