摘要
以西澳大学和中国矿业大学化学工程专业为例,详细比较了两校化学工程专业培养方案在人才培养目标、课程设置、课程对应、课程模块及学分要求等方面的异同,并结合中国矿业大学的实际提出了该专业改革的相关建议,具体为:化工专业应保持煤化工特色,增加就业方向,扩展学生就业面;试点精简课程,避免课程之间教学内容重复;增加数学、物理、计算机等基础课教学学时学分,压缩专业选修课,鼓励学生跨专业大类选修基础课程,扩展学生知识面,从而培养基础知识扎实、适应能力强、复合型的新型工程技术人才。
Taking the major of chemical engineering in the University of Western Australia and the China University of Mining & Technology as an example, the differences and similarities of the talent training schemes in the two colleges have been compared in detail in this paper, in- cluding the goal of talent cultivation, curriculum provision, corresponding courses, the course module and the demand for credits. And combined with reality, some suggestions for the major reformation in CUMT are put forward as follows: 1) the major of chemical engineering should put forward the feature of coal chemical engineering, increase occupation direction, and em- ployment chances; 2) courses should be streamlined to avoid the repetition of teaching content; 3) teaching hours and credits needed for fundamental courses such as mathematics, physics and computer science should be increased; and, the number of major elective courses should be re- duced. To encourage students to take elective courses which are barely related to their majors in order to expand the scope of knowledge. All the strategies are utilized for the cultivation of compound type engineering technology talent with a solid foundation in basic knowledge and strong adaptive capacity.
