Organization and Classification of IJA Divisions Stationed inside Shanhaiguan Pass

从全面抗战爆发到日本投降,日本陆军进行了多次整建和编制调整。本文叙述了全面抗战爆发后关内日军师团的编成和编制调整过程,介绍了关内日军师团历年的分类情况,订正了一些中文资料中的错误记述。在此基础上,概括和比较了日军不同师团在作战中的不同作用。

From the Japanese total invasion of China to their unconditional surrender,the invading IJA（ Imperial Japanese Army） reorganized its units and adjusted its formations several times. This paper describes the process of establishment and reorganization of the IJA divisions stationed inside Shanhaiguan Pass in China Proper after the outbreak of the full- scale Anti- Japanese War and analyzes different classification methods of the IJA divisions each year. It also summarizes and compares different functions and roles of different IJA divisions. Some erroneous information in Chinese materials is corrected in this article.
