The objective of this experiment was to assess the effect of non-starch polysaccharide(NSP)enzymes in barley-DDGS diet on the nutrient utilization and gut health of broiler. Nine hundred andsixty 1-day-old healthy AA broilers were randomly divided into 8 treatments with 6 replications(20×6×8=brids×replications×treatments). The group 1 was fed a regular energy diet as positive control group;the group 5 fed an energy-restricted diet that 250.8 k J energy less than the conventional diet as a neg-ative contrast group, the group of 2~4 added 100, 200, 300 g/t of non-starch polysaccharide enzymeson the basis of positive control group, and the group of 6~8 added that on the basis of negative con-trast group. The results showed as follows: ①In 1~21 d, the protein utilization ratio of group 8 wassignificantly higher than group 5(P〈0.05); In 22~42 d, the protein and energy utilization ratio of group8 were significantly higher than that of groups 5(P〈0.05). The optimal supplementation of NSP en-zymes in a barley-DDGS diet for broilers was 300 g/t, which the nutrient digestibility raised most obvi-ously. ② On 21 d, the relative weight of glandular stomach of group 4 was lower than that of group 1(P〈0.05); On 42 d, the relative weight of jeju-num and ileum in group 4 were significantly low-er than that in group 1(P〈0.05) and that ofgroup 8 was significantly lower than that ofgroup 5(P〈0.05). The optimal supplementation of NSP enzymes in a barley-DDGS diet for broilers was 300 g/t, which made the favorable effect of di-gestive organs. The current study suggested that the NSP enzymes significantly improved the nutrientutilization and digestive organs of broiler respectively in conventional and low energy(low 250.8 k J)barley-DDGS diet, and the optimal supplementation of NSP enzymes was 300 g/t in the condition ofthis experiment.
