摘要
近年来,由Sorace及其同事提出的接口假说在二语习得领域引起了广泛的关注。该假说试图解释达到最终水平的成年二语学习者语言系统中残存的不定性现象,认为二语中的狭义句法属性能够被二语学习者完全习得,但涉及句法和其他认知领域的接口属性却可能难以被完全习得。这一假说的提出引发了大量有关语言接口知识习得的研究,成为当前二语习得领域的研究热点。本文简要介绍了接口假说及其相关概念,详细探讨了该假说在应用范围方面遭受的一些误解,并提出了该假说包括不同接口概念界定不清等在内的一些不足之处。
In recent years,the Interface Hypothesis(IH) put forward by Sorace and her colleagues has attracted great attention in the field of second language acquisition.The hypothesis was proposed as an attempt to account for the residual optionality found in the language of near-native adult second language learners.It argues that narrow syntactic properties are completely acquirable in a second language while interface properties involving syntax and another cognitive domain may not be fully acquired.This hypothesis has stimulated a good deal of research into the acquisition of interface knowledge and it has become a topic under heated discussion.The present article gives a brief introduction to IH and some relevant concepts,discusses some prevailing misunderstanding about the applicable domains of IH,and talks about such problems as difficulty in distinguishing between different interfaces in IH.
